COACHING STAFF
Kelly Delacher is in his 25th season as a varsity coach. This is his 15th year leading the Rockford Volleyball program. He spent 2 years at Northview and 8 years at Forest Hills Northern (Also 4 years as an assistant coach and JV Coach at FHN). Coach Delacher was the club director for the NAVY Volleyball Club in the Forest Hills community for 5 years, he has also coached club teams for Michigan Mizuno, DFFO, FaR Out, and the USA Volleyball Warehouse. He guided Far Out teams to Bronze medals at AAU Nationals in 3 straight seasons (16 Premier in 2016, 18 Premier in 2017, and 18 Open in 2018). And won the MJVBA State Championship with his U12 team in 2019. Coach Delacher received his CAP I USA volleyball certification in 1995. Coach Delacher was a 3 year starter and captain for the Grand Valley State University club volleyball team where he played outside hitter for two seasons and setter for one season. He played professional beach volleyball on the Midwest Professional Volleyball Association tour for 5 years. Coach Delacher was voted Class A Coach of the Year in 2002 and 2011 and was a National Coach of The Year Finalist in 2011.
Deanna Delacher - Assistant Varsity Coach
Deanna is in her 25th year of coaching. Deanna played her collegiate ball at Wayne State University. She also played professional beach volleyball for 5 years. Deanna was named Sub-Varsity Regional Coach of the Year in 2013.
Erin Kimball- Assistant Varsity Coach
Erin is a former Rockford Volleyball star. Erin has also served as a Rockford volleyball assistant for 6 seasons and has also been an assistant for Aquinas College.
Christa Manyen- JV Coach
Christa has been a Rockford JV coach for many years. She is in her 2nd stint with Rockford Volleyball after taking time off to spend time with her 2 daughters. Christa played Softball and Volleyball at Cornerstone University.
Jill Brouwer - Freshman Coach
Jill is a former Rockford Ram standout volleyball player. Jill is beginning her 9th year as the Freshmen coach. Jill was an Individual Academic All State winner as a senior/captain for the Rams. Jill has been involved with the YMCA youth programs and is currently a teacher/athletic director at Chandler Woods.
